COLOURPOP LIQUID LIPSTICKS REVIEW AND SWATCHES!

Image
Hello beauties!
How are you doing? Are you ready for Christmas? I hope you are ;D.
Today I am going to show you some swatches of my ColourPop liquid lipsticks, that are absolutely AMAZING! The colours that I own are "November", "Frick n' Frack", "Avenue", "Notion", and " Lax". There's no need to say that I am going to order more soon. So, I got the products about a month ago, and since then I have been "testing" them out. My opinion? Well, I already told you, they are amazing. The texture is incredible, the application too, is smooth and you get a "rich" colour after just one coat. Only "Lax" needs more work, and I always have to apply at least two coats, because the lip colour turns out patchy and uneven (as a matter of fact, it's my less favorite lipstick, even though I love the colour).

The lasting is exceptional ONLY when you use a lipliner beforehand. Once, I applied the lipstick - if I re…

NABLA COSMETICS "UNDERPAINTING" CREAM EYESHADOW REVIEW ☆

Image
Hi beauties,
How are you doing? It's already November, and here in Turin the weather is extremely cold. I need to go out with a pair of warm gloves and an oversized parka, unless I want to freeze. Anyway, today I want to show you my new favorite product of the week. That is, the Nabla Cosmetics cream eyeshadow, in the colour "Underpainting". Actually, I bought this eyeshadow about 2 months ago, and I have never used it until yesterday. And - OH MY GOSH! - how can I be so stupid? I am still wondering "WHY HAVEN'T I USED THIS BEFORE?". I think that its quality is excellent (it's a lot like the Mac "Soft Ochre" Paint Pot), and the lasting too. As a matter of fact, I use it as a primer, since it makes the make up stay longer and it also makes the colours pop (as you can see in the photo below).

Terrific! If you want to try it, just remember to take a small quantity of product. Otherwise, it will crease and the "primer effect" won't b…

MAYBELLINE FIT ME FOUNDATION REVIEW ☼

Image
Hello beauties,
How are you doing? I am back again with a new review ;D.
Today I am going to talk about the Maybelline Fit Me Foundations, which are absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They come in 7 shades:

105 - Natural115 - Ivory120 - Classic Ivory125 - Nude Beige220 - Natural Beige225 - Medium Buff250 - Sun Beige

I have the shades 105 and 120. The consistency is pretty liquid, the coverage is light/medium (if you don't have a lot of imperfections this is PERFECT), and the result is natural and beautiful. It really brightens up my complexion!
My skin type is combination, and when I use this foundation my forehead and my nose get oily after a while, if I don't use powder to set everything. So, when I use this product I always make sure to apply some powder (my favorite one is by MAC, the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural one). Oh right, it also has SPF 18 and, the most important thing, it doesn't make me break out.
For about 10€ you get 30ml of product!

Tip: if you have dry skin, you sh…

NYX COSMETICS LINGERIE LIQUID LIPSTICKS REVIEW ☼

Image
Hi beauties!
How are you? It's already autumn, and I feel a lot older D:. So many things happened during this Summer...

| Summary of Summer 2016: studied a lot for the admission test for the degree course in Medicine and Surgery; visited Nice, Lyon, and Avignon (and attempted to speak in French, with miserable results); met incredible people, and had some hard fun time with family and friends. I know that you don't give a f**k about my life, but whatever.|

Anyway, today I want to introduce you to the NYX Cosmetics Lingerie liquid lipsticks. They come in 12 (awesome) different shades:

KIKO Rebel Bouncy Blush Review ღ

Image
Hello beauties,
how is going? Today I am going to review the Rebel Bouncy blush by Kiko. It belongs to the "Rebel Romantic" limited edition collection, launched in 2015.
I absolutely love the packaging! It's so lovely, and it gives that "I-paid-hundreds-for-this-product" vibes. When I saw it, my first thought was "Whoa, this needs to be mine". Well, let's talk about the product itself. I picked the shade called "Passion Red Wine", 04, which is a beautiful purple/mauve colour that suits my face perfectly (it looks so much fresher)!
The consistency is creamy (it's like a pudding, but a little more "solid", if that makes sense), and it is easy to apply and blend. I love love love this blush!
The pigmentation is pretty good, but there's a downside that must not be underestimated. Even though once applied it is wonderful, after some couple of hours (like 4-5 hours) my cheeks get a little stained. Luckily, not too much, but s…

HOW TO SURVIVE THE SUMMER HEAT ☼ !

Image
Hello beauties,
how are you? Today I'll give you some tips on how to survive these extremely HOT summer days!!
So, grab a pen, a piece of paper, and take some notes!

1 - DRINK LOTS OF WATER
Drink a lot! Not soda, not alcohol! Drink WATER!! If you sweat, you lose a lot of water. So, you need to reintegrate the lost liquids by drinking at least 2 l of healthy beverages. It is good for your skin too! However, there's only one downside: you're gonna spend a little more time in the restroom.

2 - KEEP SHADES DRAWN
during the hottest hours of the day! But to remember that all the rooms neet to be aerated or you'll suffocate. And you don't want that, right?

3 - USE AIR CONDITIONING AND FANS
This is the most foolproof way of fighting against the heat!

4 - EAT VEGGIES AND FRUIT!
Rely on a light diet, based on refreshing food, that has to be rich in water. This will help you a lot!

5 - WHITE IS THE NEW BLACK
Try to wear soft and light-colored clothes! I love to wear loose and cute…

RIMMEL EXAGGERATE LIQUID EYELINER & KIKO DEFINITION WATERPROOF EYELINER Review ღ

Image
Hello beauties!
I am finally back, after such a long time of silence!
Today I am going to delight you with two reviews, one about the Rimmel Exaggerate liquid eyeliner, and the other one about the Kiko Definition Waterproof eyeliner.

RIMMEL EXAGGERATE LIQUID EYELINER

I almost finished this, since I use it everyday (except the "no-makeup" days, obviously). It was my very first liquid eyeliner, and I kept buying it as soon as there was no product left. And I am still buying it. Because it's my twin spirit. I can create incredible, bold, sexy statement looks with it! It's really easy to use, and it is long lasting. BUT, it does smudge a little bit, since it is not a waterproof product. Sometimes, I have to reapply it at the end of the day, but that's not a big deal!

Pro: long lasting, easy to apply
Con: I've emptied it.
Rating: 9/10
Price: 12,95 €

KIKO DEFINITION WATERPROOF EYELINER

This eyeliner stays still all day long, fighting fiercely against water, sweat, and …

AKUEL SKYN CONDOMS Review

Image
Hello beauties,
today I am going to talk about a completely off topic thing, it is not neither about beauty and nor about fashion. It is about sex. Sex is considered a tabu subject by a lot of people, even though nowadays we are becoming more and more carefree when it comes to this kind of things. Whether it is your first time or your 10th time, it is ALWAYS important to be protected. In this post I'll introduce the SKYN condoms, characterised by the "SKYNFEEL" technology. I received them because I am part of the "Insiders" community, which sends products to people so that they can share their opinions after trying them. The box contains 9 thin, latex-free condoms, and they are 53 mm wide. Condoms are incredibly important, since they do not only prevent unplanned pregnancy, but they prevent disease too, like HIV, Herpes, Syphilis, or Gonorrhea. They are safe to use, even if they cannot guarantee 100% of protection, like any contraceptive.

CHANEL LE BLANC ILLUMINATING BRIGHTENING CONCENTRATE Review ღ

Image
Hello beauties,
ever heard of a 120$ worth serum? Yes, it does exist, and it's by Chanel. The one that I am talking about is a brightening and illuminating concentrate (1 fl.oz), and the product belongs to the "Chanel LE BLANC" line.

The LE BLANC products are quite popular in Asia, where women prefer having a light skin tone rather than a sunkissed one.
What it should do: it evens out your complexion and it helps diminish the appearance of existing dark spots.
What it does: after a month of daily application, I noticed that my skin actually looked brighter, more luminous. But, when I first applied it I did not see any difference.
This is a great product to try if you have a lot of dark spots! However, it's a rather big investment, so you have to think twice before getting it.
I really wish I took before and after photos D:!

Pro: it does what it says, it is light and it brightens up your complexion.
Con: it is really expensive, and there is only 1 fl.oz of product.

KIKO Eyebrow Sculpt Automatic Pencil REVIEW ღ

Image
Hi beauties,
I have never reviewed a brow product before, so I thought it would be cool if I reviewed one! Yeah, this morning when I woke up my first thought was "Why don't I talk about my favorite drugstore brow product"? And that's it!

Well, my favorite drugstore brow product is by Kiko, and it's an automatic pencil, which you don't even need to sharpen. It also has a brush! I have the 06 "Blackhaired", which is a dark black shade, perfect for my brows!
I love it because it is easy to use and it stays on all day long, without melting (even in extremely sunny days). Plus, it doesn't cost a lot, so you can give it a try! It looks very natural, as you can see from the pics.

What I like to do is to fill in any blank space with quick strokes, making my brows seem fuller and more defined. The difference is rather subtle, since I prefer not to overdo it (don't get me wrong, I am not trying to start an argument).

Pro: easy to use, long lasting, gre…
